Sports Fixtures:
Thurrock SSP Athletics Competition
On Friday 19th January, some of our year 5 and 6 pupils represented the school at a Thurrock SSP athletics competition, which took place at Basildon Sporting Village. The Deneholm athletes showed a great team performance to achieve an overall 10th place, out of 24 schools! All of the children displayed great team and individual athleticism. Well done team Deneholm!
Cross Country
Well done to all the children who took part in the Cross Country competition at William Edwards on Friday 6th October 2023.

Year 5 and 6 Girls Football:
The girls football team have competed in two football matches this term (vs Stifford clays and Quarry Hill) in both matches the girls have shown true fight and displayed excellent teamwork and skills. Unfortunately not getting the result we all wanted so far but the team will continue to play at such a level in games that after Christmas will result in success!
Year 5 and 6 Boys Football:
The boys have played three matches thus far against Thameside, Woodside and Gateway and have played exceptionally well in all games. They have progressively looked more of a team and as the matches continue they are showing a great attitude and resilience resulting in their first point of the season vs Gateway, well done boys!
